Report of the SA4-e (AH) MBS SWG post 134 (Dec 18 and Jan 29)
Proposal 1: Agree to update clause 4.2.2.3 of TR 26.942 to reflect the latest status of Release 19 specifications regarding the Energy Information Function.
Proposal 2: Agree to add a new clause 4.2.2.6 to TR 26.942 summarizing the energy consumption metric exposed by the Energy Information Function.
Proposal 3: Agree that candidate solutions should describe the energy-related information transmitted between functions, including baseline parameters such as timestamps, energy consumed, CO2 emissions per joule, data volumes, session identifiers, and endpoints.
Proposal 4: Agree that candidate solutions should specify what algorithms or calculations are applied to energy-related information at each function.
Proposal 5: Agree that candidate solutions should describe how energy consumption is apportioned across different levels of the media application service hierarchy (e.g., application server instance, content hosting configuration, distribution configuration, streaming session, service data flow).
