## S4-260584 – Proposal on Database Collection for Scenarios 9 and 10

- **Background:** Scenario 3 databases have been completed and submitted. Reuse of Scenario 3 recordings to construct Scenarios 9 and 10 (as discussed since SA4#135) remains unresolved, with no party assigned responsibility for construction/editing.

- **Proposal 1:** Allow individual proponents who require Scenarios 9 and 10 to independently generate those databases using single-source recordings, rather than relying on a centrally coordinated effort. A note to this effect is proposed for addition to **DaCAS-1 clause 4.3.3.2** (Mandatory recording scenarios).

- **Proposal 2:** Move Scenarios 9 and 10 out of the "Required Recordings" category, reducing the mandatory burden on the overall database collection process while keeping them available for interested proponents.

- **Rationale:** Removes a coordination bottleneck, streamlines database collection, and gives proponents flexibility without blocking progress on the wider activity.

- **Conclusion:** Requests agreement on adding the clarifying note to DaCAS-1 §4.3.3.2 and reclassifying Scenarios 9 and 10 as non-required.
